Adding Tax Options

1. When you first enter the Tax Option function command options will appear allowing you to make a Change or Exit:

• Exit – Select Exit to exit the Tax Options function and return to the Ledger menu.
• Change – Select Change to add tax options.

Select Change.

2. The tax options will display. Use the arrow keys to move through fields in order to enter tax name, rate, account, and cost center.

3. Command options will appear:

• Change – Select Change to make additional changes to the tax options.
• Update – Select Update to save your changes.
• Exit – Select Exit to exit the Tax Options function. The following message will display: "Exit without updating? No/Yes."
  • Select no to return to the command options.
  • Select yes to return to the Ledger menu.

Select Update.

Your tax option have now been saved.

Important: The Tax Options are not added until you update.
